Daniel J. Mello has worked in the tree care industry since 1995. He has been a certified arborist since 1995. His first Arborist certification was in the state of Rhode Island. He became an ISA certified Arborist in 2000, and a Massachusetts certified Arborist in 2002- one of the most difficult certification exams in the country. He received his Bachelors Degree in Landscape Architecture in May of 2000. He was the recipient of the Mario Pagliarini Scholarship for the highest score in a plant identification examination. He ranked in the top of his plant materials classes and arboriculture classes at URI. He has attended educational meetings yearly since 1995. He is in regular contact with and maintains relationships with most of New England’s most talented arborists and Professors.

Mr. Mello has been the foreman of tree crews in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. He has been in charge of ensuring that his client’s plant material receives proper care - from proper pruning practices to establishing plant healthcare programs. He has worked at the Elms in Newport, Rhode Island, Blithewald Mansion in Bristol, Rhode Island.

Mr. Mello started Seacoast Tree Care in April of 2003. His firm specializes in Plant Health Care, and specialized climbing applications. His company operates at the highest degree of standards, and uses the latest industry breakthroughs. His clients get his heart and soul, and all of his contacts at their disposal.

Mr. Mello lives in Newmarket, New Hampshire with wife Jennifer, and two step sons Evan & Alex. His hobbies are hiking, rock and ice climbing. He has traveled to Mexico, Guatemala, and Bolivia on mission projects with his church.
