Each summer we wait eagerly for the buds on our trees to emerge. But it’s right around this time – late June – when we look at our stragglers and wonder why they might not be showing anything. Not having buds on trees is a problem we encounter frequently – and one we’ll tackle today. Let’s jump right in!

Balance is always important in all aspects of our lives, but it’s also important to remember that ‘balance’ isn’t always a 50-50 proposition. Sometimes its more here, more over there and sometimes it’s both. And when it comes to watering your tree, this sense of balance is no different.
Since Emerald Ash Borers (EAB’s) were discovered back in Detroit in 2002, the pest has killed millions of trees across the country, costing the US government billions of dollars in lost resources and damages. Infestations have been documented almost coast to coast, with EAB’s turning up in places like Colorado, Texas and even Delaware.
