Plants extract water and elements from the soil to fuel growth, promote defense and conduct photosynthesis. In a tree’s native environment these resources are provided when organic matter is recycled on the forest floor naturally. Often the landscape is depleted of these resources and can be a harsh place to grow. Much of our organic matter in the landscape is removed leaving our soils low in organic matter.
Our organic fertilizers are low in nitrogen and reintroduce bio stimulants into the soil to make your soil and landscape a more favorable environment for your trees and shrubs to grow.
Depending on your site and the condition of your tree we may recommend soil testing.
On severely stressed trees we use Mycorrihazae to help increase plant vigor.
“Dan spoke to my husband at length regarding what he saw in our trees and what we could do to keep them healthy. Very impressed with his knowledge and the fact that he really seemed to care about saving the trees as opposed to simply cutting them down.” Kimberlee, Rye, NH
